I have a 97 explorer former awd with a 4406. I am looking for a heavy duty trans mount to support extra weight. Any ideas where to find one.

Trans mount as in the bushing part? Or an entire new trans cross member and the works?

I just need the bushing. The stock bushing lasted 2 days with the added weight.

I used a taller 92 F150 4x4 mount but had to cut the crossmember to keep the driveshaft angles correct. Also had to countersink a couple of the extension housing bolts for clearance.

I'm wondering if my "click/clunk" i hear when I lift off the throttle is the t-case moving and hitting the gas tank... I'm thinking the stock tranny mount is shot allowing for the driveline to flex.

or you broke your tranny mount. im about to be going on to mount number 3...or is it 4?
