Trans Problem 1992 Ranger 4x4

The rooster comb, and shift linkage were the only two easy things.. Since its not those, its an internal issue, which means rebuild.

Anyone know where I can buy a 1988-1992 Ford Ranger / Bronco in Edmonton Alberta Canada?

low/reverse servo

Might this be a the problem? Where is this thing? I have the pan off but will need some help.

low/reverse servo

Might it be this? I have the pan off..?

Also what other trans bolt right in.. 1988 Bronco? Explore? rangers? 1988-1993?? Maybe

Anyone have a picture?

Do you think this might be a problem? I have no Rev.

oh ...Strange..

I think my N is F&(*9 too..It is like everything has slipped forward...Strange..
What other truck use this trans?

What are the two TCC Solenoid in the trans for? One of the caps seem loose?

I'm assuming a4ld transmission here... One solenoid is for the TCC (torque converter control) and the other is for the 3/4 shift.

And the end "cap" can seem loose on a perfectly good one.

Do you think it would be worth changing out the low/reverse servo ?

Does anyone know the dia. of the ring? A Trans shop has bulk and I don't have the old one for him to compare the new..He should just be able to compare by the dia or sizes of the circle?

Soooo I took it off the cap of the servo but forgot to mark the cap...Is there anyway to figure out which way it goes back? I guess it has a higher point and lower point..

Does the cap go back on easy or does it need a tool? Seems easy...

Is there a special way it needs to go back together?

It will only go on one way, the holes are not symmetrical, and it is not hard to put on so going on 'easy" is normal.
