Trans probs

I have a 97 XLT 3" bodylift TT and shackles on 33"s I was doing fine untill I pulled out of work and my tranny started going out i have first and second on the ole auto this will be the 4th trans this truck has went thru and I am tired of buying/rebuilding trannys I was really thinking about a 5speed swap but I could not find any info on the swap on 2nd gens is there any other trans I can use except one off a 5speed ex cause I can not find one I think if i did not have so much time and money in this thing i would scrap it from just being fed up I am not really in a hurry but I am driving my wifes old civic with bad rings and no oil/muffler and am tired of busting my knees trying to get in it.

There was a mazda 5speed is there a certain truck to find to get the trans I need?

Might have been the B3000 Mazda...but I could be way off.
