does anyone have any up close pictures of the way that you mounted your trans temp gauges to the hard lines? i recently came across a new cyberdyne digital gauge with the sender. i need to figure out how to mount the the sender. it says to get fitting and such to mount to the lines. i have high temp, high pressure rubber lines for the trans now and am wondering where you all got your fittings to make it work and get the sender tip into the fluid. pictures or a general direction would be great. i'm putting in a 2nd cooler too so if anyone has any pictures of their setup for that as well, that would be great. i'm thinking of just running the line out of the old one, to the new one and back to the trans. that should work.

thanks guys.

I mounted mine in the mounting assembly for my remote tranny filter; works great.

anyone else??/ i'm curious if i could just take my trans pan to my transmission builder and see if he can put in a bung for me to screw into. i'm gonna get going on this project sometime this weekend when i go home. i know i've seen recently where someone put a gauge into the lines though. i'm in need of an idea as to where you bought the fitting to screw the the sender into.??

Perma-Cool makes a very nice filter guage combo.
You can't go wrong with an additional filter.
The temp send goes in the filter mount.

I got a high pressure T and cut the high pressure lines in half near the Trans. I then hooked the ends together with steel braided fuel hose, and then installed the temp sender to the T. You can use regular fuel hose if you want. The temp on the aftermarket gauge shows the same temp as it reads on my OBDII scanner. I also have the Perma-Cool filter and feel it's definitely worth the money.

i'm interested in the filter from perma cool. do you have a part number on that? i looked briefly at summit and found two options. would the one that doesn't have the gauge included with it have a spot to mount my sender? did you get the gauge with yours or did you have one already like i do?

Yes

perfect just got it from jegs for 32 bucks.

I'll answer even though you already ordered one incase any body else is reading.
I did not have a guage to begin with so I got the whole kit with the guage.
The guage is mounted on a Auto-Meter steering column pod.

Looks good too! I'm about to do the same when pay day comes :D

Thanks.
Let me give you a few heads up on the Auto meter pod though.
I'll PM you.

some of you may have mentioned that you added fans to your set up? how did you mount them, pictures would be helpful and where did you get the fans from. i was looking this morning and found a ton, just not sure which one to go with.
