I have a 1354m (manual shift) transfer case that I am going to rebuild and put in my '06 (replacing the electric shift one.) The electric shift case has the CV-joint style front output shaft, whereas the manual shift case has the traditional u-joint yoke style shaft.
The question is, on an IFS truck, which is better? (I am also about to swap in manual locking hubs, so the constant rotation of the driveshaft will no longer be an issue.)
