Transfer Case Identification

Simple question, but its frustrating not knowing so I've succumbed to looking like an idiot and asking.

How do I figure out what transfer case I have? I drive a 5.0L AWD 98 Explorer, and I'm pretty sure I have a BW 4404, but it doesn't say so anywhere on the transfer case itself.

You do. It was the only case available with the 5.0L.
