I have '97 Explorer 4.0L SOHC with about 40k.
I'm on my third set of seals, front and rear transfer case.
The two sets were installed under warranty.
I'm going to put in the third set. Any ideas on brand of seal? Stock factory or another brand.
I don't use four wheel much, since my wife is usally driving it.
Could the seals keeps failing beacause of the limited use of the tranfer case being engaged?
