The transfer case on my 91xlt 5 speed 4door just totally went out. I have found a used one from a 92 with a auto tranny. Will the auto tranny transfer case work with my 5speed thats a 91? And also how difficult are they to install. The shop wants a arm and a leg to replace it.

The transfer case is the same and the motor are the same so I don't think you'll have a problem. Check this site for info on how to fix - Dead Link Removed
