ok, i just finished cleaning the contacts in the transfer case motor b/c my 4x4 isnt working, and so i'm going to put everything back in but somehow the female end on the motor got turned a little so the shaft from the transfer case itself wont fit in it...my question is, how do i turn the female end in the motor? i tried w/a flathead screwdriver...but it wouldnt budge...how did i do it in the first place? i didnt even mess with that end of the thing...i just cleaned the contacts and the armature in the cylinder...
and, does it just slide on or do you have to push pretty hard? i've never done this so i dont know anything...thanks again for the help...

It's been a while since I cleaned my TCase motor contacts, but if you can't get the male end of the motor into the female end of the motor, and cannot move the female end, why not just move the male end?
