My transmision has been missing when shifting up and doing a downshift clunk when going into 1st. It was doing this a little at about 60,000 miles. Now at 70,000 its doing it pretty often. The passengers even noticed the downshift clunk because it sort of shakes the car and its pretty loud. It happens at around 10-25. The miss usually happens at about 45+ i supose. Say im cruising at about 2.8 rpm and its about to shift up. Sometimes the rpms willl go up to 5,000 rpm or so and sit there for a second or two til the transmision shifts. Then at highway crusing speeds every few mins or so you hear a squeak. It sounds like its coming from the transmision. Its not a suspension problem or anything like that. Does anybody know anything about this. The car is still 100% driveable and has an extended warranty. It just doesnt feel too reliable anymore. Like it could just go out at any minute.
