Okay, I've got my new 4.0 in and everything but the HVAC fan and A/C itself is hooked up. I crank it up and it sounds good. Now I have a few questions.
1. How long should it take for the tranny to build up pressure to operate? I sat there running for a good 5 if not 10 minutes, foot on the brake and moving through all of the gears and nothing, I never moved.
2. Could I have my cooling lines reversed? (unfortunately, I did'nt pay attention when removing them) A transmission guy told me to route the bottom line up to the radiator and the top line to the cooler. I've asked others and they said it didn't matter. Is this an issue?
3. Seperately, how long should it take to blow all the antifreeze out of my exhaust from when I blew my head gaskets on the old engine? I'm filling up the neighborhood with white smoke.
