I have a leak comming from the overdrive servo cover. I took it to a transmission shop, and they verified this. Has anyone replaced the seal/o ring that goes in here? If so please let me know how this is replaced.

Thanks

No other problems? There is a snap ring that you remove. Usually the cover sticks in place because of dirt and corrosion. A light tap with a rubber hammer will usually allow the internal spring to push it out. If you decide to do both servos, do one at a time. They are different. Now all you have to do is get to them. Pull exhaust or go under seat.

No, no other problems that I am aware of. How much tension is on the spring? How much tranny fluid will I lose? And one other question: Will I be able to push the spring in by hand, or wil I need some kind of tool?

Thanks!!!!

I pushed mine in by hand. Didn't seem to take that much force. Fluid loss should be minimal.
