Transmission fluid leak

Out of nowhere discovered a small but persistent transmission fluid leak. There's fresh residue all around the transmission fluid pan. Going to see if I can tighten all the small bolts on there and hope it's nothing major....maybe a failed gasket?

Around the pan? Methinks you got the right idea about the gasket/fasteners. You should do a fluid swap in the pan while you are at it

It's a reusable gasket so it's unlikely that it failed. But I would definitely check the pan bolts.
