Transmission Growl/Whine - Transmission Cooler Leaking

My dealer performed the work with no visible leaking

I called and made an appointment. I was not asked if it was leaking. Just an FYI. We will see what they say

Just today, I noticed a low growling sound kinda underneath the center console while under a steady low acceleration at a slow speed (30mph). Everything seems to be working OK but after seeing this post, I am concerned a bit.

The explorer was at the dealership last week for an oil change and I asked them to double check the transmission/cooler and they said it looked good....

Thoughts?

**update** Took the explorer out about an hour later to run some errands with the wife. Was out for over an hour with different driving and could not get the sound to reappear. Even went same route as earlier where I did hear t for sure. I guess I am just going to keep an eye (ear) on it until I can replicate it for the dealer.

I noticed a leak (not oil) on my garage floor underneath my 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum. 14k miles. Car went into the shop on Sept. 17th. Apparently the trans cooler needs replacing. They won't get the part until end of October!

I reviewed the three or four threads on the trans cooler and bracket fix.

Where is the cooler located on the XLT?

Anyone have photos of the original cooler without bracket and the new cooler with the new bracket added?

If your transmission is whining or growling it’s lost enough fluid that most likely it’s life will be drastically reduced.

I wonder, collectively, how many gallons of ATF has been pissed out by these poorly designed Explorers onto parking lots or roadways.

I did not have any leaks or other symptoms but I had my Transmission Cooler replaced under Customer Satisfaction Program 20B34 after receiving a notice by mail in February 2021.

Notice the photo of the new Transmission Cooler below with that MACHO bracket welded to it. I think this is the bracket I keep reading about but have not seen a photo of.
