So today I was doing some off roading (filled with lots of pedal to the floor moments) and I started t have problems. First my 4x4 lights started flashing , this has happened before so I disconnected the battery and I kept going. then the flashing continued and now the overdrive light started continuously flashing. I eventually got back on pavement and then I realized something was wrong.
First I noticed the transmission seemed to be shifting hard and fast, felt like it was in 4lo still so I pulled over add disconnected the battery again. sill had the 4x4 and overdrive lights flashing so I got back on the road it was shifting hard and late, an had a whirring noise. I floored it to see what would happen and at high rpms started slipping.
I made the short dive home around 40 mph at 3500+ rpms. At this point I have no idea hats going on and don't have the money for a trans right now.
any help would be great!!
