Im getting a knock out for my 5spd trans in my '94 xlt. it happens in all gears, it has a new clutch, slave, and master cylinders. it drives fine with no loss of power, just a loud knock. when the shifter boot is removed it sounds like its comming from the body of the transmission, rather than the bell housing or X-case. the fluid is also new...... and ideas, thanks a bunch!
