Dismantled? No but it will need to be removed. The pump seal is in the bell housing and is visible once the torque converter is slid off the input shaft. However, the pump seal is something easily screwed up by someone not familiar with the A4LD.

oh ok, thanks, nate. that's good news I suppose. I guess that would be cheaper than a complete rebuild
