Okay here the story about 3 monthes ago the transmission died and I had to get it rebuilt 2100.00 for that. The tranny shop siad it was because of the tires and everything that i have done to the truck. 162,000 miles and at 110,000 i had ford put a HD new tranny in because the former owner blow up the torque converter literally. That was with 3.27 gears> Finally I got the truck regeared for the tire 32in to 3.73 and changed the the speedo gear to match. that the short story

About a month ago the battery died and I had to get it jumped so i could get the truck home and i started to notice bucking going up hill and buck when letting off the gas. I thinking I either the tranny or the computer. I would like your input on this. It would help. Right now I brought the truck back twice already and I'm think to get a used computer and throw that in to see if the computer messed up. If it does not solve the problem i'm bring the truck back to the tranny shop and making them rebuild it again to find the problem (by threat of lawsuit)

do not threaten a lawsuit... well not @ first, i understand you are upset, but as soon as you threaten a lawsuit... customer service goes out the window and you get doors slammed in your face and hung up on the phone.....

when was the last time you had a tune up? it could really be any number of things... with that much milegae, i would hope that the engine has been tuned up quite regularly, plugs, wires, etc, filters......

might not even be computer or tranny related.... maybe the fuel pump is going out, maybe the fuel filter is hsot... sounds liek you need t odo some more troubleshooting... and before you say there was nothing wrong with it befroe the battery died, some things are coincidence, soem things jsut happen to die or break at wierd times....

Jimbo's advice is good. I am not sure that your problem is trans related. Sounds more engine to me too.
