i've been having problems with my tranny. i have a 98 explorer 2wd auto with 150k on it. throwing no codes. just a rough idle. whenever i come to a stop, it'll want to stall out unless i put it into 1st. when i take accerlarate, it sounds like its stuck in a higer gear. kinda like it isn't downshifting when i slow down. i think its stuck in 3rd. but after getting up there shifts fine. before it gets to 3rd, its rough shifting. it stopped doing that for awhile but now its coming back. already changed tranny filter and fluid last year with mobil 1. any clues anyone?
