Transmission problems.

I have a 91 4x4 explorer auto trans when it gets warmed up (10 miles) it dosent want to shift into third gear it slips then slides in I changed the modulatoR and noticed a pin in the center of the modulator and put it in , but when I TOOK IT BACK OUT it wasnt there any longer. could that be the problem? anyone elese have the same problem?:exp::

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmission section. You should have a pin in there. Double check to make sure that there is a pin in the bore.
