Transmission Question

Question.
I have a 91 mazda navajo with 4x4 and A/T and I would like to use this for small towing like a scamp or casita trailer, and a 10x5 ut trailer,
I don't trust the A/T, its only a year old and doing fine, but with towing I just don't trust it.
Sould I Part out of this Navajo or is there a better type of Transmission out there thats stronger than the Stock Transmission,
to me it seems the transmission is my weak point

those transmissions don't like heat. Get the biggest auxillary trans cooler you can get to fit in front of the radiator.

Also, don't get the tube and fin type cooler, they don't work as well.

Get a stacked plate cooler, and an external transmission filter. A transmission temperature guage might be a good idea too.
