I have a 97 X with sohc V6, 5r55e Transmission with 108,000 miles. When I start the truck in the morning the rpm is about 1500 at idle. When I put in in reverse it is fine nothing strange, as I back down the drive and put it into drive it wants to lung into drive. No slippage.
The ambient temps are cooler now with the seasonal change as it has just started this. It only does this when it is cold and never after a restart once it is at operating temperatures. I have serviced it with a transmission flush at 30k, 60k and at 90k a flush and filter change. No towing ever. All forward shifting is fine wether cold or warmed up. Any Suggestions?
