Transmission shifts out of first twice

whenever i accelerate hard it will try and shift to second but it wont but it will on the second try

it is as if in a manual you pressed the clutch down but did not shift however this happens very fast and only from 1st to 2nd

Sounds like you have a 1-2 shift solenoid that is sticking of defective. I've had to replace mine, and it did a similar thing, but between 2-3.

ya it is worse now it does it without even getting on it that hard and it does is sometimes three times

I have a similar problem, slipping between like 1 and 2 or 2 and 3. HOw do you fix that?

The 94 A4LD is a different animal than the later 5R55E. Shifts are controled by the speed governor 1>2 and by the vacuum modulator 2>3 and above. First macke sure you actually have second by checking operation in manual 2. If you search these are procedures that most people can do.
