After some vibrations and rumbling, the dealership just told me I need a new transmission. 2006 EB V8 AWD with 87000 and they want $5,200 to do the work. There's no way. Does anyone have a recommendation on a good shop in the Orlando area that can give me a 2nd opinion?
I am thinking about mine more and more, but I hope to make it to 200k on this one. I have 06 EB v8 with 134k miles, and it still shifts well. But I would not pay 5200. I looked at used ones with 50k miles (in my books that's low mileage, and you can get them for about 1000, so plus 500 labor I would probably risk it.
