I have a 91 eb that the transmission is acting up in. the guy that owned it before me replaced the trans modulator about 5 or 6 years ago but said that the problem i am having sounds like what he had going on . here goes... my wife says that when she puts the truck in reverse it backs down the driveway without a problem but when she puts it in drive it dosn't go anywhere until a few seconds later or sometimes she revs it up and it will eventually jerk into drive. i have done the same thing with it. then when yoiu stop it does the same thing wont go into drive then jerks to a start after reving up the engin to 2000 rpms. then after a little driving the problem seems to disapear. until the next morning then it all starts over again. any way i have checked the vacuum lines at the tree and don't seem o have any trans fluid at that point. i haven't checked at the modulator yet.
