transmission swap

Would i be able to swap a 6r80 into my explorer from a 2009 explorer with the same engine. The reason being i want a sorter gear for highway driving and ik the transmission in my car doesnt like power. And i want to try and get 400whp out of my car at some point in time

Your PCM runs the transmission. You'd have to use the PCM from the 2009 Explorer. This would bring other issues as well based on the changes made between the years. You can tune an engine to work, but not the trans.
