trany no reverse

:navajo::roll::yelexp:i have all gears except R and it is auto what would be wrong with it be for i change the trany and what trany sould i use if there is a beater one out there i can use and what can i get one from and i do suck at spelling

Lets start with some basics. Did you check the fluid level? Do you have manual 1st gear? Did you try to drop the pan, and check the low/reverse servo piston for a chipped shaft or bad O rings? Did this suddenly happen? Do you have a 2WD or a 4WD? When was the last time the fluid, and filter were replaced?

i changet it today it look fine its 4 wd and it it dont smel burnt
