I just recently took an offroading trip and came home with a few battle scars. There are some "scratches" that run the length of my Ex that were from tree limbs that couldnt keep off my ex. They are strange. When they are wet, you cant see them, but when dry you can. They dont go through the paint, and cannot be felt when i run a fingernail across them. Any ideas on what i can use to get them out. I tried wax, but i think mine sucks (it was old). Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. I can get pictures if they are needed. Thanks.

some sort of rubbing compound

I use a 10" randow orbit buffer and hit it with a good cleaner wax by mothers or their scratchX stuff works pretty well, I then put a coat of Carnuba over the top and I am good to go. I can never get the deep ones out, but those finer ones like you describe are pretty easy if you have an hour and a buffer.

There are better products on the market, but mothers is relatively inexpensive, works good, and is carried by most stores.

never had any issues with it myself, just be gentle, and dont rub too much
