within the last 5 months i have replaced the fule filter and pump, spark plugs and wiers, starter, mass air flow senser and battery trminals. about a monthe ago i went and put gas in the truck and then went to the store, when going to go home it would turn over but not start its done this twice now. then it started just anywere. it seemes to be when its hot and leaves a funny smell when it dose start but know one knows what it is

The only clue I have is that an intermittent no start like that is probably an electrical fault.

1st thing I'd probably do would be to pull codes: see if there is anything in memory that would indicate why it won't start intermittently.

When it won't start, does the fuel pump come on? Without any other information, I'd probably start with the fuel pump circuit.
 






ok i its doing it again amd more often i replaced the coial and the fule pump ingages and the gascap and theres no change and no one knows why

Check the fuel pressure. Does it only happen after the engine has warmed up? If the pressure is too low on a hot engine the fuel in the fuel rail will cause vapor lock and will cause starting issues.
