for ovr a year have been dealing with what seems to b air in brake line. husband has replaced pads, master cylinder, calipers, bled the brakes at least 20 times,no lie! sometimes they grab good and hard up high other times ur foot goes all the way down to floor. also at longer stops pedal will slowly go all the way down. husband is very mechanically inclined but this is frusterating the crap out of him and me...help

Help with breaks

Sounds like you have gotten a bad master cylinder from the parts store .
It does happen ! With it running and in park , pump up the pedal about 5-6 times until hard. Does the pedal start easing down to the floor ? If so bad master ! TB3!

Could be a bad break booster too. I replaced my calipers/master a few years ago, still had a soft pedal, replaced the booster and was gtg.
