I'm having trouble with the door-locks on the vehicle(94 explorer 4dr)
When locking electrically, sometimes both rear doors with lock, sometimes only the fronts, and occasionally, the fronts, and the rear passenger. The hatch is hit or miss, though it can be manually locked so long as the handle is horizontal. The other doors, if you try to manually lock them, will not engage. Nub moves up, to unlock position, or down into lock position, either way they remain unlocked.
I thought that perhaps the locking mechanism was disengaged, but that would not explain the hit/miss electric lock would it? I am not familiar with the locking system. Checked the fuze panel. It's alright there.
Any thoughts/or suggestions as far as what could be wrong and how to go about finding/fixing it?
Thanks
