truck slips when in PARK

Hello out there!
Explorer ST 2003 w/150k miles on it: while in PARK with the engine off, the truck still moves forward (or backwards) and makes a "ratcheting" noise. When driving,the transmission shifts normal up and down. Any comments please?

I had the exact same problem a couple months ago and it turns out the shifter cable just needed adjusted. Easy to do, I did it in my gravel driveway in 15 minutes.
