truck wont start

I just reinstalled transmission and the truck won't start. It wont crank at all what could it be?

Did you check the wire connections going to the starter? the wire to the connector that gets connected to the starter itself can get crapped up and break down and with moving the starter around while doing the tranny could have finished it off. Also ensure you have a good ground cable between the starter bolt and the battery. Just a thought.. It happened on a F250 I used to have.
