Hey all,

At startup, sometime I notice a rattle that comes from the belt area on the left side of the engine. I can see what looks to be some type of metal item rattling. Maybe some type of tensioner or something? Car runs and drives perfectly and has no codes, but this is bothering me. Hopefully something that is cheap or fix.

Here is a video:

Thanks -Mitch

Hi Mitch. Have you checked under the vehicle for possible loose shields etc?

Sounds like your tensioner. We replace a lot of those for that same noise. Be sure to replace the belt too.
