Okay kinda nervous/confused so i have to ask. I know that when you crank up your torsion bars, you can increase the wear and tear on your CV joints. Well, today i did the whole TT thing, and i cranked them up as tight as i THINK they can go. made them all the way up snug, but didnt crank on em too hard once i got that far. measured how high it changed and it was just shy of about 1.5 inches. does that sound right? i hear of people cranking near 3 inches out of the torsion bars.

The adjustment stops when the bolt head bottoms out on the adjusters. Thats usually the 3" mark

usually 4wd's get about 2inches and 2wd's get the full 3

mine is cranked all the way down, got about 1.5 inches. should i be worrying about the CV joints then?

no because it is within the travel of the cv's

you should be fine, like SkanlaxJMO said just make sure that the cv's dont bind/rub against the arm during offroading
