guess nobody has ever tried putting aftermarket wheels on a sport with tt/shackle lift

Never in the history of man has anyone tried that lol.

Your wheel choice is not that different from stock. 8.5 is an odd width, I guess. Not many people get 16" aftermarket wheels, though. Your wheel choice is so close to stock, I think you'll get enough information from the stock wheel/tire choice. Your wheel is a little wider is all, but not by a huge difference that it's going to require a special amount of attention.

You may also want to request that people only post pictures of 16x8.5 aftermarket wheels with the EXACT tires you bought also. Tire tread will probably make more of a difference than the wheels you chose in this instance since the wheels are practically the same as stock size.

Don't be disappointed if nobody has pictures of the exact wheel/tire combo you have, though.

Just for a reference I have BFGoodrich AT's 265/75/16 and I cranked my torsion bars, still rub at full turn. I took my 16's off the ranger since tires were already on them. My bald passenger tire does not rub obviously due to tread being bald. Need to get a new tire. It's the stupid mud flap.

Did you get your wheels in yet? I am on the fence about ordering new rims myself.
