tune up

what all with a tech do when he does a tune up to my 94 X

probably changes oil and filter, air filter, and new plugs

really i ws expecting that they would actually "tune" the motor or tweak it or something ,man that was a dumb question

With new computer controlled motors (stock), there are less 'tweaks' for the mechanic to do. Basically regular service consists of fluid and parts changes. With older carb and FI engines with little or no computer control, you'd tune the motor every once in a while to keep everything efficient and in spec.
