Turbo issue , help needed to reset CEL

I had a check engine light and found hose disconnect for turbo booster along front of engine . I reconnected it but can’t get the check engine light to reset . I tried the battery disconnect but with no avail . Anyone been able to reset the check engine light . I know the cpu has to go through some diag cycles till it clears , but not sure how long I should wait .

You can disconnect battery but it may take a while. It would be easier to reset using scan tool / obd2 dongle. From my experience, the CEL is not triggered for P0299 which is underboost but that may have changed in later years (I have 2013). It typically only visible if you actually scan DTC history. You may have something else more serious going on that's triggering the CEL to stay on .

Get the codes read before trying to clear it. You probably have a second issue, as mentioned above.
