Turbos and turbo kits are more for "imports" or 4-cylinder motors.
Ford tends to go with superchargers for their motors.
You can get a supercharger kit for the 4.0L OHV V6, but they are very rare now, otherwise you'd have to buy a new similar supercharger and assemble everything else needed yourself.
Paxton made a bolt-on SN-93 centrifugal charger based kit, it comes up for sale (used) occasionally. Also BBK made an Instacharger roots style kit. Watch the Ranger Station and Explorer Forum classifieds and eBay.
Do a forum search, there are a few people on here who have had success building turbo kits from scratch and got good results. The 4.0 can handle boost in stock form as long as you can get the extra fuel required (tuning or FMU and an upgraded pump).
