My third brake light was working when the other 2 were not so I was told I needed to replace my turn signal switch. When I removed the 2 quick connects that lead to the wiring harness, the smaller one was burned and cracked.

Does anyone know a part number for this so I can buy another on or can I just solder the 2 leads that are burned directly to the new turn signal switch? Any ideas why it would have done this? Thanks for any input!

Soldering it on to the new switch would most likely be a pain, there's not that much space down in there to work with as it is.

I don't know the part number but you could probably go and ask them at the parts desk.

Usually stuff like this is caused by corrosion. Corrosion causes resistance, resistance causes heat, and heat causes, well, you know.... ;)

Fixed it!

Thanks for the quick reply. Got the clip for $1 from local junkyard, all is working now!
