Yes. I've seen this done in a few first gens. You might want to consider getting something like this professionally done though, better to do it right. Any TFT TV would work, don't really suggest the cheap eBay ones, but for instance, Pioneer/Alpine TVs should work, or maybe expo5.0 could get you some deals on a myron & davis like I have in my dash, I love it alot.

Defintately possible though.

why wouldn't you suggest the ebay TV's?

some times things really are to good to be true..so SOMETIMES the discount TVs have bad pictures and such

u really need to look at how many pixels a TV displays and things like that

and then again sometimes they have nice pictures but fall apart of burn up inside of 6 months

ebay tvs can be just fine if you know what you are looking for, make sure they say tft

ebay tv's have been known to burn images really quick. ive talked to at least 8 people who bought tv's off ebay (cheap brands on ebay, all different brands too) they each went to a show, played a movie, and images got burned into the screen. from what im told by my co-installer is that all those no name brands have the SAME EXACT internals, from a company. they just put there on name and cover on them. Im not talking the alpine/pioneer/clarion/rockford fosgate/ etc etc
