Can any of you US guys tell a UK girl what is the correct tyre rotation pattern for a 2000 North Face please?

I've done 15K miles so far on Firestone Wilderness HTs.

it should be in your manual. i dont remember off the top of my head, but i believe the rears criss cross going to the front, and the fronts just slide directly straight back. if im mistaken, its the other way around. but like i said.. should be in yoru manual. if not, someone will chime in soon. good luck.

maybe im just weird, but i usually rotate mine every 3000. inbetween oil changes. :p

I have never rotated my tires. I never see the need to. By the time one of them needed replacement, its time to replace the other 3 anyway. I just bought tires for the wife's truck and they are directional tires so, again, I won't be rotating those as well. My tires last me around 35-40k miles on average. That's good enough for me. :)

Anyways, like jssong said, proper tire rotation should be written in your manual. Some vehicles have full size tire with the same factory wheel. If this is the case with you then you could benefit from doing a 5 tire rotation also.

Good Luck Kath!

Driven tires (rear) go stright to front. Non-driven tires (front) cross and go to rear. So, right front goes to left rear. Left front goes to right rear. Left rear to left front. Right rear goes to Right front.

PERFECT!!! Also the recommended time between tire rotation is 6,000 miles

ROFL, would you like to buy my new rpo comp MT's? They are only 170$ a piece

I went awhile without rotating my tires, and I am paying for it now. Pretty rough ride when two tires are wore out at an angle. Damn hybrid front ends don't hold an alignment worth a crap.
