u bolt question

I just ordered 2'' drop springs and 2'' drop blocks and I was wondering if stock u bolts can be used? If not, if I go to a auto parts store and get the right size u bolts will it matter that there not same brand as the blocks or are they universal? 91 xlt 4x4 by the way.

The stock ubolts will not work. You can use universal ubolts from any autoparts store, BUT, be warned, you really have to squeeze em together to get them in the shock plate. Myself and many others have pulled it off, but it can be difficult.
