Removed my front driveshaft yesturday. Well i don't have the money to buy a new one this close to x-mass. So i took it to work today and took it apart. All the internals look great. The only thing wrong was the seal was busted and their ws no grease. So i cleaned everything and put it back together. Im going to get a universal/split cv boot and put on the outside. You think this will work?

I take it you were getting a vibe/noises from it?
did you feel the ball bearings and cage for cuts/scratches?
just because it "looks" great, doesn't mean it is.

Well i went to the junk yard and couldn't find another front drive shaft so i just reinstalled the old one. It got fresh grease and a cv boot on it. I went for a drive got it up to 70, no noise. Just maybe my luck has changed. Ill give it a week before i get to happy.
