is it the date thats the problem?
I have a feeling that only three will turn up again- should I try and make this later in the year?
All I want is a great turn out and for us to get to know each other, meet, relax and maybe have a beer- seems daft that the peeps in the USA can pull of meets and its a bigger place- maybe I should give it more time.
I think to give it the best chance we should arrange a meet the next available school break, that way more of you may come and for those of us without kids, we can get some more money together- cant say fairer than that.
And as we have more time to develop this I will make a firm place of meeting in the next few weeks after I have spoken to a few people, you see a few places that I have been in contact with will have us come to their premises, they have had car meets there before and sell and specialise in American car parts- details to follow, ( if we can show numbers will come).
Numbers were too vague for this planned meet so if you can come back with a date that we can come together, I would not mind arranging with my contact that we enjoy their hospitality and have the comfort of being able to know a face when we see them, your cars and the pleasure of meeting you and spending some quality time with you..............

Let me know, I am up for the dates we have- I am completly flexible for future dates also!

My only problem is I'd need a bit more notice so I could save enough for the fuel so more notice would give me time to save.

Coming from St Andrews to the Midlands is gonna cost more than I have available right now unfortunately.

I think a good way to agree a meet - and get us all there would be to have a poll to find out exactly where we all are - find a central point for the majority - then find the venue?

Once this has been established - then agree the date?
