Unable to get either glass or hatch to open

Hello, I am new to this site and hope some one can point me in the right direction to get my hatch open. I have even tried opening it from the unlock button in the rear on the vehicle. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

When I first got my Mounty my hatch had a sticky latch on the locking mechanism. If I hit the lock/unlock button several times it’d unlock and open. After pulling the panel a little bit of Kroil lube and it’s been good since.

Does the hatch handle feel sloppy and loose? Are you new to the truck or have you had it a while and the hatch quit working? More clarity please.

Pushing the round lock on the rear exterior will allow you to open the rear glass.

I have owned it for years. It has always felt "floppy" when isn't unlocked. The hatch will not open either.
