i dont think its possible, its just to small.
maybe without a box, but you need a box.

maybe.... with some crafty fiberglass work

It would be really cool if you could mount them IN the seat. Like make the seat part of the box or something. That would be interesting to sit on. Definately take some fancy fiberglass work though.

riiiight.... you could probably fit a 8 or 2, but you wont be able to fold the seats down, if you really want to be creative make a box that goes where the stock sub goes, and put a 10 there....

:D yeah, that would be cool!! kinda like this eh? ;) Dead Link Removed

Do you have a 4 door? It would be much harder to put under the 2 door back seat, and in either of them you lose the folding capablity, so keep that in mind....

Why do you want subs under there anyways? I doubt they would sound very good, supposing you want them facing up... Or do you just want the feel...?

yeah I was actually picturing youre awesome box in my head when I said that!!!! props to you for that!!! :D

I don't think/feel that there is enough room under the back seat to do anything that would sound good. Just go with the box for the rear passenger side of the cargo area. Sounds very good and does not take up any space.

Hmnm.. i dunno.. mainly im just looking for ideas for subs.. i really need the space in the back and i want more than one 10.. what about in the back on the very back door..? like in the panel under the glass.. you could probably fit 8s in there.. maybe even 10s eh? i mean you'd probably shake things loose.. but hey.. what do you guys think?

thanks for the compliments...and for giving me another chance to show off the box ;)

or you could do it like mine, which takes up no space what soever

lol.. yeah, i could.. does that one 10 fill up the entirety of the explorer though?

you mean sound wise? eh, it adds bass to songs and sounds good, but doesnt bump all that much for stuff like rap. i dunno, i like it, not overpowering and completely stealth

but outta curiousity could you fit like 8s in the back door panel? oh and someone asked earlier and i have a 94 xlt 4door

I know that someone here has put two 10's I think in the rear hatch. At least two 8's for sure. Search and see what you can find. I know only one person has done it.

hmm.. i might have to look into making one of those.. im not into the whole rap thing.. but i kinda like the thump sound.. you know? but if im trying to save space im gonna have to sacrifice that i guess

yea, i dunno, but i doubt it...theyre probably too deep
