Under car detailing

Hi all i do allot of 4wdrivin and get pretty muddy up under the car and in the engine bay.The mud seems to bake it self on on the chassis of the x and in the engine bay.I comes off pretty easy on the body.
Whats the best way to clean this???

Thats the downfall of offroading in deep mud. Without getting it on a hoist and spending hours pressure washing it that mud will stay there forever. I have on several occasions crawled under with a screwdriver and chiseled some mud out.

Agreed. A pressure washer is your best bet. Between the cab and the bed, I still have caked-on mud from going to our cabin. I can't reach it with a mit, and even if I did, it's likely too hard. So, it has stayed there.

when i actually clean my truck and really spray the frame with a pressure washer....i end up shoveling mud off my driveway and i still have to knock large chunks off with a screw driver or a puddy knife once it has been sprayed....trust me you can get it all.
