i am trying to get enough names to get some various pricing for some under drive pullies to be made for the V6 OHV explorers. i have emailed companies like STEEDA and ASP. it can be done, but we will need around 30 names. i will post a reply to this thread as i get news back, if you are interested, email me thru my profile, or reply to this thread. happy hunting..... i hope!!!

I believe that a company already makes these.....
I remember seeing them in the Perfomance Products Catalog......

i have been looking for under drive pulleys also for 97 4.0L ohv with 5-speed manual and have not found any. i'v tried searching the web, going to the ford racing store and off road shops with no luck i would buy some if i could find some.

i'm also having someone cross reference the pulley part #'s with other engines and try to get some under drives that way.

if someone knows of a site that has them can you please post it. thanks.

hey willie, i have looked at my brother's 94 mustang's OEM under dreive pullies, and also looked at his aftermarket pullies too. it looks as if the aftermarket kit would work, except for the one for the crank, we have a different bolt pattern. if you do get someone to find out about it, let me know. i will continue to see what i can do from my end. good luck..........

cboug76, are you sure that it is for the 4.0L? i know that they make them for the 5.0, but i haven't heard of it for us, if you know of the link, it would be great if you could post it on this thread in a reply. thanks.......

fast azz, you got some nice mods :D

is it really that fast? i got a 96 ohv 4dr and its pretty slow. did you notice a lot of gains from all those?

hey there espnfreak. well i think it is a lot faster than stock, my roommate has an exact replica (year, make, model, options) as mine but his is black. and he has no mods done, so evertime i get a new engine mod, i drive his to test the difference. and i CAN REALLY notice them. that and i run only 93 octane out of mobil gas stations in it. now granted that i have a 2dr, so mine weighs less, that and i have a manual transmission, so i have control of the shift points that might be why mine performs better than a 4 door. needless to say, i have street raced grand nationals, V6 camaro's and mmisc mustangs, and held my own quite well. not bad for the 4 mods installed currently. i can only imagine what it will be like when i get my supercharger and headers in the mail, then throw on my custom dual 2.5" cat back exhaust. :-) i also just added a new thread in the " under the hood " section, titled " performace list inquires and websties ". there you can find a whole s&@tload of parts to make your OHV a "FastAZZ4.0" too.
