Universal Moount

I am looking for a universal mount kind of like this one

for my 2003 ford explorer. I don't know to much about the mounty but do you think this one will work with my explorer? Or does anyone know where to point me to help me out. Thanks.

Its not the stereo I am mount. Its for my zune/gps/sirius(if I choose to).

The idea is I just need some kind of mounting structure that I can attach those kind of devices to.
